The World’s first liquid-cooled laptop Asus ROG GX700 was launched in India last Wednesday. It is priced at Rs. 4,12,990. Asus has also launched the ROG Strix GL502 gaming laptop in India. The laptop is a premium gaming device which comes with a detachable ROG – exclusive Hydro Overclocking System cooling module that has dual 92 mm radiators.

Asus says that they are capable of dissipating over 500 W of heat. It comes with a ROG – themed suitcase to carry. The users will also be able to use the traditional cooling system.

Working:

The cooling module pumps coolant into the GX700 and it is circulated around heat-generating components. The coolant then goes back to the cooling module, where two radiators are present to dissipate heat. An ROG-patented connection between the cooling module and GX700 checks that the coolant flows smoothly between the two without leaking.

The Hydro Overclocking System helps GX700 cope with the heat generated by the overclocked GeForce GTX980 GPU. You can fully unleash the monstrous potential of GX700 for 20% more performance and exceptional stability. GX700’s dual thermal design can still release the heat generated by the GPU on its own, so the users get best level of performance.
